Tutorial: How to create a flange in Hydroman

Goal:

Creating your own flanges.

Steps:

• Open Hydroman and start a new file.

• Select a new pattern.

• Go to assist and select Create Flange.

• In the next window you can fill in the data of your flange. We use in this example a 8” SAE flange. At select mounting holes you can choose the mounting you need.

After pressing ok the flange will appear.

• Now you can select hole number 1 and give the right name for the flange so this will appear in your drilling list.  You also can add an extra step for example an o-ring chamber.
• Save the file at ……\Libraries\Hydroman Files\Flanges\SAE\Code61 or another folder within the ‘Hydroman Files ’ folder. Refresh your library.
