Tutorial: How to make an undercut in Hydroman
Goal:
How to create an undercut.
Steps:
- Open Hydroman and start a new file. Start anew hole using the right mouse buton.
Change the size of the diameter to the size you need to start your hole with. Set the depth to the depth you need in your block.
- Make a cross section in the Y axis so you can see what is going to be changed in the hole.
Select the hole and press [Enter]. Your edt box will appear.
Add 2 steps to the hole.
Change the added steps to the desired diameter and give a depth for this stepes. It will look like.
Be sure the hole is selected and press the A on your keyboard and select step 1.2 and 1.3. You can use the Ctrl key to select multiple steps.
After selecting the steps mark Spotfaced.
Press Ok and the hole will look like.
If you want make it a cavity mark in the previous window Cartridge. With the [E] key you can add the side drilling area.
